Family Reserve

Gran BosqueGran Bosque - Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby red. Rich, romantic complexity with mature strawberry, notes of mint and red pepper. At mouth, velvety tannins, well-balanced. A wine with its own distinctive personality that can be stored for many years.

Hand harvested in the last days of April, with extreme care, from select vines in the Rapel valley. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks at 82 degrees. Five days maceration prior to alcoholic fermentation and 15 days following. Malolatic in new French barrels. After twelve months, transferred to new French barrels for another ten months maturation.

Casas del Bosque Gran Reserva

ChardonnaySauvignon Blanc
Intense color with shades of green and yellow. Fruity aromas of ripe pears and banana. At mouth, good acidity, balanced integration of wine and oak, rounded and soft, with a long finish.

Hand harvested in early April with optimal ripeness. Fermented in second-use French barrels. Six months maturation with minimum intervention.

 

 

 

 

ChardonnayChardonnay
Pale yellow color. Complex aromas of fruit, combined with tropical and toast notes, buttery vanilla.  At mouth, creamy, fresh, well-balanced, with a long and pleasant finish.

Hand harvested in late April with optimal ripeness. Fermented in second-use French barrels. Nine months maturation with minimum intervention.

 

 

 

 

Pinot NoirPinot Noir
Soft ruby red color. Aromas of cherry and plum, floral and violet notes. Notes of toast and vanilla. At mouth, oak adds smoke and vanilla, velvety tannins, balanced, elegant and soft.

Hand harvested in early April. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 77 degrees. Part of the alcoholic fermentation was conducted in new and second-use French barrels. Maturation for 9 months.

 

 

 

SyrahSyrah
Deep, intense ruby color. Armons of cherry, pepper, spice. At mouth, velvety tannins. An elegant Syrah from a cold climate.

Hand harvested in April. Matured for twelve months in French oak.

 

 

 

SyrahCabernet Sauvignon
Red ruby color. Aromas of concentrated red fruits, notes of toast, chocolate, coffee, spices and mature cherry. At mouth, elegant and complex, strong tannins, large body, agreeable and long finish.

Hand harvested in the last days of March with optimal phenolic ripeness. Fermented in stainless steel with select yeast at 82 degrees. Maceration for 18 days. 15 months in French oak.

 

 

 

Casas del Bosque Reserva

Sauvignon BlancSauvignon Blanc
Intense green color with yellow shades. Bouquet of citrus, apples, a touch of grass, mineral and flower notes. Mouth presents good volume with character and personality, and a long persistence.

Hand harvested in March and April. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, at 55 to 60 degrees, with select yeast to preserve the varietal character.

 

 

 

ChardonnayChardonnay
Pale yellow color. Fruity aromas, peach, pear, banana, quinces, tropical fruits. At mouth, integration of honey and vanilla, with good intensity, pleasant and balanced acidity, and a long agreeable finish.

Hand harvested in April. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, at 55 to 60 degrees, to maintain the fresh fruit and varietal character. Part of the wine was aged 6 months in French barrels, to balance the fruit richness with the elegance of oak.

 

 

 

Cabernet SauvigonCabernet Sauvignon
Intense ruby color. Fine aromas of mature red fruit combined with subtle oak. Strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, hints of annis, mint. At mouth, round, well balanced, with round, mature tannins.

Hand harvested in April. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 75 - 80 degrees, with select yeast and tannin extraction techniques. Maceration for 15 days. Part of the wine is aged in new French barrels, the rest in second and third year French barrels, for one year.

 

 

CarmenereCarmenere
Intense Black cherry red color. Subtle notes of plums are combined with ripe red fruit and spice. Soft velvety tannins and pleasant long finish.

Blueberry jam, black cherries are balanced with black pepper, paprika and. Use of French oak barrels imprints cocoa and smoke. The vineyard location adds pleasant notes of Eucalyptus. Well balanced ripe fruit and oak.

 

 

 

CarmenereMerlot
Intense and brilliant ruby color. Aromas of plums and red fruits, integrated with spicy notes. At mouth, well balanced and round, ripe tannins.

Hand harvested in April. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 75 degrees. Maceration for 18 days. Part of the wine is aged in new French barrels, the rest in second year French barrels, for none months.


 

 

CasaViva

Sauvignon Blanc Sauvignon Blanc
Intense, brilliant green-yellow color. Evocative aromas of tropical fruit, notes of herb and grass. At mouth, balanced acidity and freshness.

Hand harvested in March. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to preserve fruitiness. A small portion of the wine matured in second use French barrels, for a dash of butter and toast.

 

 

 

 

Pinot NoirPinot Noir
Brick red color with garnet hue. Elegant raspberry and blackcurrant aromas, with a touch of smoky oak. At mouth, plum, berries and violet, balanced with firm acidity and a lingering finish.

Hand harvested in March. Fermented in open tanks with manual pumping. All wine undewent malolatic fermentation in French oak, and was matured for six months in first and second use barrels.
