We are looking for energetic, polished professionals who want to devote 10 or more hours per week to developing and maintaining new business for Best Valley Wines. Wine experience is not necessary. Travel or living experience in South America is highly desirable, since a big part of our company's mission is to share how the beauty of the diverse valleys of South America express themselves through the wines. Prior sales or entrepreneurial experience is important.
Click here to contact us. Responsibilities
* Map out strategy for developing business in the desired region * Develop relationships and place product with wine boutiques, restaurants, private clubs, cultural organizations and larger regional stores * Hold tasting events at in-home parties or with clients (wine boutique, clubs, etc.) * Participate in periodic discussions of new wines and sales ideas * Be entrepreneurial, resilient and focused, and remember to have fun presenting the wines and relating the stories the wines tell!
Benefits
* "Own" your own business in your chosen region * Work wherever, whenever you want. It's entirely up to you how to spend time! We have some helpful suggestions about what is working in current regions but the ideal people will thrive on autonomy. * Learn and enjoy working with wine * Keep active in the business world while doing the other things in your life (one of our partners is a basketball coach, another is studying, and this is also a great job for parents whose kids are in school) * Have fun networking * Earn generous commissions on wine sales revenue (up to 6x industry standard - we want partners)
High potential regions are West of 495, Worcester, Metro North-West (Concord, Lexington), Metro West (Wellseley, Brookline, Newton, Natick), Metro-North (Winchester, Arlington) and more. We already have a good presence in Boston and the South Shore, and have some good clients in MetroWest and North, but we can't do it on our own - it's time to share the fruits of this business with a select group of friends. Our friends who started the CT franchise are already selling more than we are in Mass - and we love it! But now we've got to redouble our efforts...
