Conceived as a high quality wine that expresses true varietal characteristics from the top Valleys in Chile, La Dote was created by Best Valley Wines. Through years of experience and research we have identified the best regions and producers from the Central Valley to produce our new line. Our hands-on approach to selecting well made wines and the desire to maintain our high standards has generated partnerships with smaller producers to make wines that hold a high value. Our constant interaction with local growers and producers has enabled us to bring to the market over two vintages of exceptional products.
Vineyards
We have concentrated our efforts in the Central Valley of Chile, which includes the Valleys of: Maule, Cachapoal, Colchagua and Curico among others. Each one of these locations presents climate and terroir characteristics that benefit certain varietals, and we have identified them to procure our grapes from the very best sources.
Winemaker
Andres Espinosa has over 15 years of experience in the wine industry and has a vast knowledge of growers as well as winemakers. His permanent presence in the area permits him to have a first hand information of the growing conditions each year as well as manipulation techniques that produce top quality grapes and their transformation on high quality wines.
